We are pleased to announce that we will be performing at The United Reform Church in Marlow on 22nd March 2018  when we will be playing Tchaikovsky's Symphony no. 5.  For those of you who attended our Dvorak New World performance last year, this will follow a similar format: in the first half our conductor Tom Horn will give an informal talk about the symphony, with the orchestra playing specific extracts, before a full run through of the symphony in the second half.

Other events in the local area can be found on WhereCanWeGo.

Winter 2017

Just the one performance over the Winter season saw us perform for the first time at the The Two Brewers in Marlow in their barn.  Needless to say there were a few Christmas favourites in the set, but also some other lively pieces to keep the audience entertained.

Summer 2017

Our very busy Summer schedule consisted of 2 pub gardens, 2 brewery performances, the Marlow Town Regatta and a wedding!  With many of our orchestra members also Rebellion Brewery members, we were happy to perform at both the June Rebellion Members' Night and the Rebellion Charity Weekend in July, our first performances at the brewery.  It was also a pleasure to return to The Bounty for a second time and The Ship for a third time.

The aim is to be a true community orchestra for the Marlow area, being encouraging and welcoming to new players and to take a varied repertoire to a wide variety of venues in the local area.  The social aspect is important with post-rehearsal drinks at a local pub as well as trips to the Rebellion brewery members nights.
